oo6 [Video/Action for Saffron PokéCenter]

[Good morning, Johto and Kanto. Enjoy your bobbing view of the Saffron City Pokémon Center for a few seconds there, because that's all the quiet you're getting before there's a clatter. Something was carrying the gear, but now it's dropped it and there's a quietly frustrated sound that can only come from a Drifloon. Did it? Apparently so, if the little balloon pokémon appearing on the screen says anything about it. That and a hand, picking the gear up from where it fell which shifts the feed to show Hitsugaya working in the back room, sorting paperwork.]

Try something lighter next time. It'll be easier.

[The Drifloon coos, but doesn't seem to take the advice to heart because it floats over, starting to tug on Hitsugaya's arm in an attempt to lift him instead, but this doesn't work well at all. It barely manages to even lift his arm, no matter how hard it tries. ]

That's not going to work, you know.

[The Drifloon makes a sound that can only be described as sad before floating off, leaving his trainer to continue his work. The feed continues for another minute or so like this, but the the Drifloon soon returns and has something held in it's tendrils. Hitsugaya doesn't look up, and this proves to be his undoing as the Drifloon cries out right before whatever it was holding is thrown right at Hitsugaya's head. It impacts, and he jolts before scrambling to catch it in his hand. What is it? A rock. A very muddy rock if the state of his hair is anything to go by. So much for it being white now.

The good news is it's a small rock, barely a tap on the head, but enough to get his attention and make him give the Drifloon a very stern look. It seems to be laughing, though. Someone has a sense of humor.]

Oh, I don't know. It could've thrown that large piles of paper over there!

[ And then you'd have paper everywhere... ]

Paper is still easier to clean than mud, even if's torn to shreds.

[yes, well, he's used to that one. So used to it he doesn't have any trouble with it at all....most of the time.]

Nothing a nice long shower won't cure, right?

For everything except the papers that also got mud on them, perhaps.

[yeaaah...he's a giant stick in the mud. Sorry, Hughes.]

[ It's okay, he's used to sticks in the mud ]

Were they important papers?

[ Peering over to try and get a closer look. Honestly... it was a tiny pebble... it really doesn't look that bad. ]

[That's good. Because he's going to need every ounce of experience he's got when dealing with this guy.

As for the papers, the only ones that have mud at all are blank and with only a couple splatterings of mud here or there. Most of it's in Hitsugaya's hair, but...well, he just shrugs a bit.]

No point dwelling on the hypothetical, right? It'd be too much of a waste of time!

We have nothing but time here. It's hard to waste something we have too much of.

Oh! You've got plenty of time~?

[ ... you should say no... if you know what's good for you ]

[A glance up at the clock. Off-shift in twenty minutes, but it's a slow day...yeah, he's got time.

And sadly, doesn't know what's good for him sometimes. This being one of those times.]

I've got the perfect thing to do when you've got lots of free time!

[ Hold on one second, he's grabbing something from behind him.

HAVE A PICTURE. It's of a little girl in a pretty sundress. She's riding a tricycle ]

LOOK, IT'S MY BEAUTIFUL ELICIA. Doesn't looking at her just make your day so much brighter?

[Icon face + eyetwitch. What the...what the hell is he doing? Showing off a picture of someone who's probably his daughter to a perfect stranger? That's just asking for trouble.

And it gets no vocal response from Hitsugaya. He's a bit startled because that came out of nowhere.]

[ No response? That's okay. He's pulling out another photo now. It's of the same little girl, but this time, she seems to be playing tea party. She's dressed in a really pretty dress, seated at a table with a few stuffed animals filling the other seats. ]

ISN'T SHE JUST ADORABLE? The perfect way to spend any day!

[Okay, this is just....just....now he's getting a migraine. Great.]

I can think of more productive ways to spend the day.

[How is it not? Simple...even if Elicia is pretty cute.]

Showing pictures accomplishes nothing, and if if you any enemies if she arrives here, they may very well recognize her and harm her to get to you.

Why would anyone attack my precious Elicia~? She's to adorable! One look from these pretty little eyes, and anyone would melt!

[HUGHES DON'T MAKE HIM HANG UP ON YOU--and no. he's not melting. He's getting a headache, sadly, and shaking his head without a word. Why does he never meet the quiet ones?]

Ah, here's one taken the day before I arrived here! She just turned 3~ Look at her hugging that teddy bear... it's even bigge than she is!

[Elicia may cure all ailments, but her father shoving pictures of her into the faces of strangers most certainly does not.]

Perhaps you should focus your energies on finding a way to return to her before she outgrows the bear, then. She must miss you.
