[Good morning, Johto and Kanto. Enjoy your bobbing view of the Saffron City Pokémon Center for a few seconds there, because that's all the quiet you're getting before there's a clatter. Something was carrying the gear, but now it's dropped it and there's a quietly frustrated sound that can only come from a Drifloon. Did it? Apparently so, if the little balloon pokémon appearing on the screen says anything about it. That and a hand, picking the gear up from where it fell which shifts the feed to show Hitsugaya working in the back room, sorting paperwork.]

Try something lighter next time. It'll be easier.

[The Drifloon coos, but doesn't seem to take the advice to heart because it floats over, starting to tug on Hitsugaya's arm in an attempt to lift him instead, but this doesn't work well at all. It barely manages to even lift his arm, no matter how hard it tries. ]

That's not going to work, you know.

[The Drifloon makes a sound that can only be described as sad before floating off, leaving his trainer to continue his work. The feed continues for another minute or so like this, but the the Drifloon soon returns and has something held in it's tendrils. Hitsugaya doesn't look up, and this proves to be his undoing as the Drifloon cries out right before whatever it was holding is thrown right at Hitsugaya's head. It impacts, and he jolts before scrambling to catch it in his hand. What is it? A rock. A very muddy rock if the state of his hair is anything to go by. So much for it being white now.

The good news is it's a small rock, barely a tap on the head, but enough to get his attention and make him give the Drifloon a very stern look. It seems to be laughing, though. Someone has a sense of humor.]

[Killing Drifloons is kind of out of the question anyway, considering Pokemon apparently cannot die no matter what... apparently.]

None that I have access to without my powers. I don't know any that don't require them, either.

[Well, the Drifloon isn't annoying enough to hurt yet, either. Just annoying enough to get the glares.]

Have you tried giving it a big hug.

[Yes, he's really suggesting this.]

[just...iconface. It should be obvious from that that no, he hasn't tried to hug the Drifloon. He'd probably get strangled if he tried, being that Drifloon would try to lift him again.]

And that's supposed to work?

[Not many people would try to hug a ghost pokemon though, let's be fair. Niou just smirks faintly.]

It's a sign of affection, isn't it?

[Not many people, no, but this guy...well, he's not big on hugs in general. The ghost thing doesn't bother him one bit.]

That doesn't mean it would work to make him stop doing things like this.

[Either way, Niou is going to keep pushing for this route.]

Of course it will. He's probably feeling neglected because you don't give him enough love.

[And he's going to keep getting line faces for his trouble. Be that as it may...hugs aren't happening. Nope.]

The others on my team are all treated the same way, and none of them react like this. It wouldn't make a difference in his behavior.

[You might want to listen, Hitsugaya.]

Ghost pokemon are a bit special though, they require more attention and tend to be a little more mischievous if they don't get it.

[Maybe he might, but that doesn't mean he will. He's a stubborn one.]

Then one of us is going to have to learn to deal with it. I don't see hugs working with him.

[The him in question makes a cooing noise, peering over Hitsugaya's shoulder and reaching for the gear with his tendrils. Does he want hugs? Hard to say...]

[And Niou just raises an eyebrow, thank you Drifloon as even if he doesn't want hugs, it seems to go with what he's saying.]

And he's probably so lonely too. [He gives a dramatic sigh.]

[No one can say Drifloon can't help make a point...nor can they say he's not still reaching for the gear. What's he up to?]

I'm sure he's--

[Fine? Stealing the gear again? Being annoying? All of the above, because Drifloon has indeed just nabbed the gear and floated away with a very amused sound. He doesn't seem to be sad or lonely now, that's for sure.]

[There's a soft snicker from Niou's end as well to be honest, as Hitsugaya seems to be similar to Sanada in that he constantly has a stick shoved up his backside.]

[Hitsugaya is indeed similar to Sanada in that respect, but he doesn't seem to care. No, the only thing on his mind at this moment is getting his gear back from his thieving Drifloon, who's turning it this way and that whilst making cooing noises at Niou. Hello there, new person!]

[And Niou just leans forward after propping his 'Gear up, smiling at the ghost Pokemon.

It's at this moment when Gastly comes along, however, and starts cackling at the screen to communicate with the Drifloon.

Bad things are bound to occur from this - but that may be what Niou is planning.]
