[Morning, Johto. Hope you enjoy loud noises from feeds that had been silent as the grave for the past week, because that's what you're getting as a wake up call from this one. It's hard to tell why, exactly, for a few moments because of just how fast it's moving, but it's pretty obvious it just got knocked off the nightstand next to the bed in a Pokemon Center.
By who? Well, that's pretty obvious when the camera stablizes a moment later and shows the owner of the gear on his knees on the ground, clutching at his right shoulder as he breathes hard and stares at something only he can see with wide eyes. It takes him a little to get his breathing back under control and push himself up to sit, but he doesn't get far before his Arcanine is there, putting her head onto his lap and letting him bury his face in her fur with nary a sound. He doesn't seem to have realized his thrashing kicked the gear on, because it times out to that scene a few minutes later without him saying a word.]

You were wrong. It was my fault.

May. 20th, 2012 11:35 pm[Ocean waves, distant and striking against rock, along with a fairly huffy sigh. Someone doesn't seem happy.]
Unbelievable. Would it kill them to make a more detailed map...
[Hitsugaya is most definitely not happy about where he is, which some people will recognize as deep in Ilex Forest. So deep, in fact, that he's reached the tiny spit of land that is bordered on one side by cliffs overlooking the ocean. Yeah. He's lost and he knows it, an utterly frustrated look on his face as he fiddles with the gear, not knowing the camera came on while he was trying to get the map to show where he actually is.
Unfortunately, he's never going to get to see if it works that way. Something seems to get his attention and his eyes narrow, but the only sound to come from his feed is his Arcanine whining so loud and high pitched that it causes feedback in the speakers. Why'd she whine? Because he just fell to the ground, completely unconcious and not responding to her no matter how much she nudges him or licks his face, and the feed times out.]
[ooc: modly permission for canon update is go! He'll be updating to right after Aizen cuts him down, aka Chapter 393. People in the area are welcome to search the forest for him, but he'll wake up in Azalea Town next Monday regardless.]

--Get back here!
[Evening, Johto. Enjoy your view of the inside of a mouth. No, not a human one. It's most definitely canine, and a very large canine indeed. A very large canine who's running, right up until there's the sound of a collision and it yelps, the feed tumbling end over end until it comes to rest and abruptly shows Hitsugaya and his now Arcanine-Hina in a messy heap by the tall grass on the route just east of Violet. Both are covered in twigs, leaves, and dirt from that collision, but Hitsugaya doesn't seem to care and he just sighs at her.]
I thought you'd have outgrown this by now.
[Hina barks, happily licking his face before she stops suddenly, ears pricked upwards like a cat seconds before she starts to growl at the grass. Hitsugaya stands with her, dwarfed by her massive size, but before he can say anything, there's a rather loud hiss and something purple latches onto his leg, sending him toppling over onto his back. It's hard to make out exactly what that was, considering how fast it slithers back into the grass, but Hina...doesn't care. She's charging after it without a care in the world, leaving her trainer to call after her, sitting up quickly.]
Hina!
[He moves to get up and chase after her, but he's fallen over again, having trouble just staying sitting up, forget standing. He's practically got his face in the dirt, one hand reaching back for the two small holes in his calf that are already discolored and leaking blood into the leg of his pants, but he can't quite reach as Hina comes back from the grass and pads to his side, looking no worse for the wear. She sniffs at his leg a bit, whimpering faintly, before she simply steps forward and grabs the back of his shirt between her teeth. He can't even protest before she's picked him up like a wayward puppy and has set off back towards town, leaving the gear behind. Find them on the way? You may just get bowled over by a very concerned, very maternal, very protective Arcanine. Her puppy.
Even if he's human.]
{ooc: video/text replies ICly delayed by about half an hour. Arcanines really don't care about the gears they just stole.}

oo7 [Action for Violet City/Text]
Mar. 29th, 2012 05:51 am[It's supposed to be a quiet night for Violet City, now that the attack on the Trainer's School has passed, but that quiet is about to shattered by a very loud cry sometime after midnight. It's loudest near the Pokémon Center doors, and anyone who looks in that direction or is nearby will see the cause. It's a Blastoise, one that's looking mighty depressed and rather annoyed at something, though that look is mirrored on Hitsugaya's face. Who would send him one of these in the middle of the night?
That looks stays on his face even as he raises his gear to scan the creature, but when he realizes who's this is, his face falls. He recognizes the trainer ID he's getting in connection to this Blastoise as someone he knows. Someone he never expected to vanish. But isn't it always that way? Aren't the disappearences always sudden and without warning?]
...You idiot.
[Who's he talking to? Hard to say, and the Blastoise soon rumbles off with him in pursuit down various streets and alleys. Good luck running into them in the pitch black night now.
Come morning for those of you in Violet, however, that Blastoise is going to be in the pond near Sprout Tower, and it doesn't appear that he's going anywhere anytime soon, because his new trainer is definitely not moving something that big. At least the Magikarp are still swimming around, though...flopping fish would not help.
For the rest of Johto, there's only this text. Someone has to say it, after all.]
Misaki Ayuzawa has gone home.

oo6 [Video/Action for Saffron PokéCenter]
Jan. 30th, 2012 09:02 pm[Good morning, Johto and Kanto. Enjoy your bobbing view of the Saffron City Pokémon Center for a few seconds there, because that's all the quiet you're getting before there's a clatter. Something was carrying the gear, but now it's dropped it and there's a quietly frustrated sound that can only come from a Drifloon. Did it? Apparently so, if the little balloon pokémon appearing on the screen says anything about it. That and a hand, picking the gear up from where it fell which shifts the feed to show Hitsugaya working in the back room, sorting paperwork.]
Try something lighter next time. It'll be easier.
[The Drifloon coos, but doesn't seem to take the advice to heart because it floats over, starting to tug on Hitsugaya's arm in an attempt to lift him instead, but this doesn't work well at all. It barely manages to even lift his arm, no matter how hard it tries. ]
That's not going to work, you know.
[The Drifloon makes a sound that can only be described as sad before floating off, leaving his trainer to continue his work. The feed continues for another minute or so like this, but the the Drifloon soon returns and has something held in it's tendrils. Hitsugaya doesn't look up, and this proves to be his undoing as the Drifloon cries out right before whatever it was holding is thrown right at Hitsugaya's head. It impacts, and he jolts before scrambling to catch it in his hand. What is it? A rock. A very muddy rock if the state of his hair is anything to go by. So much for it being white now.
The good news is it's a small rock, barely a tap on the head, but enough to get his attention and make him give the Drifloon a very stern look. It seems to be laughing, though. Someone has a sense of humor.]

[Hi, Johto. Enjoy the sound of a heart monitor breaking your otherwise quiet night, along with a rather bright blue glow before the camera on this end can adjust. That is what happens when a gear gets turned on from relative darkness and is soon faced into light, so what can you do? Not much besides wait for it to clear and reveal a room in a Pokémon Center somewhere, with a tank of water in the center and a chair nearby.
There's also a tiny Horsea floating in the tank with what can only be an oxygen mask attached to its snout and leads attached to its body. That must be the source of the sound, but the source of the feed isn't so easily traced back right away. It takes a moment, but a sound that can only be a Dragonair humming soon breaks the monitor's steady beeping, and the feed shifts a bit to reveal that it is instead a Dragonair, coiled in the corner of the room and in control of the gear with his tail. The Dragonair looks looks up, shifting the camera back towards the tank as his trainer enters with a nurse right behind him, taking a seat while the nurse does her checking, then looks to the boy who...looks about ready to fall over.]
"Mr. Hitsugaya, are you sure you'd like to stay? There's nothing we can do but wait--"
Thank you, but I'm sure.
[The nurse sighs at his stubborness, but doesn't bring up the issue again as she notes down the changes on the chart in her hand, looking to the clock on the wall then back to Hitsugaya.]
"I suppose there are worse places to be spending your birthday. Call for us if anything changes."
[With that, the nurse leaves him staring at the clock, and after a moment, he sighs and looks back to the tank. Yeeeep. Guess who's spending his birthday in the Pokemon Center and just doesn't seem to care. This guy, that's for sure. He only sits, watching the Horsea for long moment and saying nothing while Shiryuu squeezes the gear and shuts it off. They're in for a long night.]

4th Wall 1[Action everywhere]
Dec. 11th, 2011 04:03 am[So, anyone around him may have noticed Hitsugaya suddenly go rigid then disappear not long after that flash of light yesterday, but there was no trace of him after. Not until now, anyway, where he's standing just outside of...a city. Somewhere. Hard to say where, exactly, what with all the snow everywhere. Snow that, despite it being rather deep, he's standing on top of like he doesn't weigh a thing. Judging from the light clothing, he doesn't seem to care about the cold, either.
No, he only seems to care about the sudden roar from overhead, one that sounds like a very loud, very angry creature that can easily be seen. It seems to be some kind of dragon made of ice, 30 to 40 feet long and just charging down from the skies like a bolt of lightning, but Hitsugaya doesn't move. If anything, it looks almost as if he was expecting this, and the ice that's slowly building on the trees around them. He just stays where he's standing even while the dragon makes a "landing" and coils around him like a giant snake, right up until it moves it's head within reach of his palm and he reaches up to it with...yeah. That's a smile
alright. A very rare one that shows no signs of going anywhere.
Strange, what a little ice and familiar company can bring, isn't it?]

[Hello, Johto. Have another feed brought to you by Shiryuu-cam, only this time it's not as...excited as the last time and it's stable, keeping the focus on the counter of the Goldenrod Department store, which is pretty loaded down with supplies for what appears to be a long trip. Or just paranoid overstocking, as is the case. The cashier doesn't look happy, at any rate, and he slams the change down on the counter top as Hitsugaya reaches for it.]
"Kids shouldn't be buying this kind of stuff. Just take it and get out of here."
[Hitsugaya sighs, the look on his face saying that he's obviously used to this kind of thing but still annoyed at it, and he takes the bag before reaching for his change. No point in getting into an argument about it, after all. So he turns, ready to walk away like this didn't happen, but there's an issue.]
"You know, you really should treat paying customers with more respect than that."
[A large busted issue, to be precise. One who Hitsugaya practically rams right into, and the impact forces him back to the counter. The problem with being short as he is? He tends to hit his head on stuff that's lower for most people, and that includes shop counters. The hit dislodges Shiryuu from his shoulders and sends both Dratini and Gear to the ground with a clatter of plastic and a hiss from the Pokémon. The gear is still recording, and as Hitsugaya rubs the back of his head, Matsumoto continues to rip into the cashier.]
"I can't believe how rude the people working here are! Are you trying to take advantage of him?"
"...N-no..."
[Sensing that's enough, Matsumoto turns as if to lift Hitsugaya off the floor and yell at him, but he's already gotten back to his feet and is walking away. Of course, there'll be none of that and Matsumoto...squeals as she embraces him from behind.]
"Captain~! Oh, it's so good to see you!"
[He sputters, making a strangled noise in the back of his throat, but he doesn't pull away right away. He lets her hold on for a couple seconds before he attempts to get away, but Matsumoto is holding on too tight for that to work and the feed ends as he continues to struggle. It's just not his day.]

--can't believe this...where's that map...
[Evening, Johto. It's about sunset as the video comes on, though it's pretty much by total accident. The owner of this gear, one obviously rumpled and tired Toushiro Hitsugaya, doesn't even notice the thing is recording as he tries to get the map from his bag. Of course, it's useless in the back alleys of Goldenrod, which is where he appears to, and judging from the expression on the face of his Golduck standing behind him, they're lost.
Yep. His sense of direction in a town this large that he's never been to, is absolute crap and he knows it if the expression on his face says anything about that.]
We'll have to turn back. Come on.
[He turns to leave the alleyway and retrace their steps, Golduck right behind him and the flashes of orange fur at his ankle showing his Growlithe is right at his side. But then the puppy stops suddenly, turning to the entrance of another alleyway that the sun is just shining through, growls, and darts into it before her trainer can grab her.]
Hey---tch.
[He chases after his Growlithe, only to stop when he gets halfway to her and appears to see something from the corner of his eye. He turns his head, but before either he or anyone watching can see what caught his attention, a cream streak darts out from the shadows and his Growlithe starts barking again.
Of course, it's too late to do anything about that, and Hitsugaya loses his footing as the streak, obviously some kind of quadrupedal pokémon, lashes out at his face. The gear goes flying from his hand and skitters across the ground, turning off upon impact with something but not before there's a tremendous crash, the sound of breaking glass, and a surprised cry from the young man in the alley. Seems trouble follows him wherever he goes.]

oo1 [Video/Action for New Bark]
Aug. 14th, 2011 08:34 pm[Evening, Johto. Have a sniffly sound as something sniffs at the gear and manages to turn it on, then show an orange-furred face and the sun setting behind it. No sign of a trainer, though. Not for a while, at least, but after the Growlithe turns over its shoulder and barks, its trainer finally shows himself.
All four foot four inches of him, anyway; this might be a familiar face to some, what with the white hair and black clothing that is doing absolutely nothing to keep the heat at bay right now. Nor is it making it easy to move as the Growlithe picks up the gear in its mouth, teeth turning it to audio in time to hear one very annoyed Hitsugaya over the whining noises it's making.]
Bring that back. Now.
[More puppy whining, footsteps, and then what can only be a tumble before the Growlithe yelps in alarm as there's the sound of a scuffle. Barely a moment after that, the feed comes back onto video as Hitsugaya wipes the screen clear of puppy drool and stares down at it. If he seems a bit pink, it's because of the heat, really. He hates the heat, and the squirming puppy he's holding in one arm isn't helping matters any. It is a fire type after all.]
Would I be correct in assuming it's no longer March, or is Johto simply in the middle of a heat wave?
[If he's going to say anything else, it's cut off by the puppy squirming more and attempting to lick his chin, which forces him to adjust his grip before it can wriggle free. He's quiet for a moment after that, just looking back at the gear, then as if telling himself that now is as good a time as any...]
Ise, Momo, if either of you are still here...I'd appreciate it if you call me back.
[End feed, but not before the puppy jumps from his hold and bolts off, yipping playfully the entire way. He'll be busy, at least.]

Feb. 25th, 2011 03:33 am['Sup, Johto. Not a feed you're used to seeing, is it? It shouldn't be, what with how much of a recluse it's owner is. The fact he's been sick for the better part of the past few days hasn't been helping much, but something is.
What is that? A newly evolved Dragonair who is none too pleased with his trainer being such a hermit. There's the rumbling sound of a growl mixed with a "Draaaaa...." as the feed clicks on to show a birds-eye view of Hitsugaya staring up at something. What is that something? His Dragonair up a tree with his Pokégear. And yes, that is his eye twitching.]
Hyourinmaru, get down here. Now.
[Another growly "Draaaaaa" and Hitsugaya seems to sigh. He moves towards the tree to climb up, and the feed shifts as Hyou slithers down the tree and passes his trainer. Once he's on the ground, the feed shifts to show Hitsugaya glaring from halfway up the tree-trunk. This is not going his way at all, and he puts his head to the bark as the feed cuts out. Dragon: 1, Boy: 0]

[So. Guess who's out in the storms right about now? That's right, it's the midget captain, on his way to Cherrygrove to go pick up Momo. He's stopped for rest under a tree, and hey, been a while since he talked with Matsumoto, so he'll just....find out her number is dead. Dammit. A couple more tries, still getting nothing, then the feed clicks on with a sigh.]
Matsumoto Rangiku has been sent home.

[The video feed clicks on by complete accident, coming on in time to catch a Dratini slithering down someones leg. That someone is rather short, keeping an eye on a Psyduck peering into the water near the Sprout Tower in Violet City. Seems that Hitsugayas Psyduck wants to try and swim again, even though it's nearly freezing out. And being that they've all been locked up in the hotel for a few days, well, here they are.
However, something seems wrong. Though it can be barely be seen due to the distance and the camera angle, Psyduck has a mischevious look in his eyes as Hitsugaya draws closer to see what the hold up is. Just before the young boy reaches his Pokémon, Psyduck seems to flail and fall into the water. Hitsugaya crouches down, then seems to shake his head and get himself ready to dive into the water after his ridiculous duck, before the area where Psyduck fell in begins to glow. Anyone who's had a Pokémon evolve, this glow is familiar. But it brings Hitsugaya up short, apparently reminding him of something else.
Before he can make another move, the head of a Golduck breaks the water right where Psyduck fell. From the look in its eyes, it's the same one that just mock-fell into the water, and with a resounding splash, the newly evolved Golduck pulls Hitsugaya into and under the water, ignoring the hiss of the Dratini minding the gear. After a minute when neither surface, the Dratini moves to the waters edge and peers down in search of its trainer.
Needless to say, when Hitsugaya surfaces with a gasp for air, Dratini is rather shocked. It retreats to the gear as the boy swims towards the shore, managing to pull himself onto the snow covered banks before coughing up a good deal of water. To be frank, he looks like a drowned rat compared to Golduck who is returning to his trainers side and standing guard. Golduck, at least, has at least the decency to look sheepish as Dratini hisses at him a second time, right before the feed cuts out.]

[Good morning, Johto. Guess who's gotten his egg for the holidays? Yep. There's one of these:
wrapped in a bundle of white and green cloth on his bed at the Inn, Psyduck sitting nearby it. Where's Hitsugaya? Sitting by the window, staring out at the snow. Violet is fairly quiet; just the way he likes it. He speaks after a moment, though.]
From what I've heard, it would seem everyone recieved one of these eggs over the course of the night. I doubt this many eggs could have been misplaced or sent to the wrong people during one night, but there doesn't seem to be much else that could have happened. Does anyone have any ideas? [A quiet "Psy" from Psyduck, and Hitsugaya seems to chuckle a little.]
Although, I'm beginning to doubt my Psyduck is male, the way he's been caring for the egg.
( [Voice Call to: Matsumoto Rangiku] )

Dec. 7th, 2010 05:40 am[Anyone up just after dawn? You'll see this little four foot something standing outside in the light snowfall. The cold? Isn't really bothering him, even with his breath frosting in front of him. Despite not having his powers in this place, or perhaps because he doesn't have them and this is reminding him of that, he seems almost...happy, for once.
But then he reaches for his Gear. Just because he loves the cold doesn't make it easy to travel in snow. Seems he'll be spending his money on some warmer clothing, as well, if those little shivers are anything to go by.]
If anyone intends to travel to or from a city, I would suggest you do it soon. I doubt this will be the only snow Johto sees this year.
