I have survived three wartime deployments with minimal damage, I run the Eighth Division by myself, and I must say that you, sir, are only putting yourself under unnecessary strain by assuming that you are under some kind of obligation or responsibility to "look after" Matsumoto or myself. Yes, this world is dangerous, but so is any other, and we most certainly have the expertise to survive it and come out on top, even without any enhancements that we did have back in Seireitei.
Also that near-disembowelling wouldn't have happened if I had been sighted at the time. Sir.
